COVID-19 has presented unforeseen challenges for the community, leading to increased concern for public gatherings for an undetermined amount of time. In regards to our summer camps and tournaments, camp schedules and details will remain to be determined. We remain hopeful that we will be able to hold our camps and continue to develop young players this summer. That being said, community safety and the well being of our players and coaches will remain our top priority. We will continue to update you on our decision as we receive more information.

The Academy of Hoops was founded by Philadelphia 76ers Player Development Coach, former 10-year NBA Pro and Villanova Hall of Famer Alvin Williams, to provide student-athletes with an environment to improve their skills, enhance their knowledge of the basketball industry, and prepare them for opportunities within the sport.

The Academy and its faculty are committed to providing student-athletes with an intimate learning environment and to enhance overall player performance both on and off the court by embracing a “back-to-basics” approach to player development.
